Drying grains and cereals

Robust structures and cutting-edge technology for systems designed to last over time.

The ideal solution for processing cereals, legumes, and food products in a controlled and uniform manner, with both continuous and batch options.

Our fixed dryer solution has been designed to meet the needs of customers who process different types of products. Their construction ensures high flexibility and maximum precision in process control, adapting to the specific characteristics of a wide range of products. The modular concept allows the load capacity to be adapted to the individual needs of each company, while the robust structural design and the quality of materials and assembly enable our dryers to maintain consistent performance over time, thereby maximizing our customers’ investment.

Structures built to last

Strahl dryers are designed to deliver long-lasting performance, even under the most extreme conditions. The supporting frame is made of heavy-duty hot-dip galvanized steel. The panels are made of steel coated with Aluzinc or Zinc Magnesium to increase resistance to operating conditions and atmospheric agents. On the outside, they are designed with flaps to drain rainwater, while on the inside they are smooth and assembled in a coplanar manner to prevent harmful dust accumulation in the drying chamber. The base is designed to be installed on a reinforced concrete anti-seismic foundation to ensure stability and safety even in the event of seismic activity, as required by international regulations.

Environmental and operator protection

The movement of grains during drying generates a significant amount of dust. To contain emissions, our fixed dryers feature specific solutions: the movement of the product takes place over very concentrated time periods to limit dust dispersion during loading and unloading phases. The airflow is interrupted during the phases of greatest product movement, when dust is most likely to form, in order to reduce its dispersion. the suction system includes an optional device that captures dust, concentrates it, and directs it to collection systems before releasing it into the air.
