Drying technologies since 1966. From Villorba, Treviso—where the company was founded and continues to maintain its operational and production roots—Strahl has grown over the years to become one of the key global players in the industry, with thousands of dryers manufactured and dozens of markets served worldwide.
Innovation, customization, reliability, and meticulous attention to after-sales service are the pillars that have built the company’s strong international reputation. Today, Strahl is the European leader in the grain dryer sector, with over 80% of its production exported abroad and an expansion into new markets that continues to grow. The recent acquisition of the Agrimec mobile dryer brand, now integrated within its system, has enabled Strahl to further strengthen its product offering, making it complete and flexible.
Strahl continually invests in digital innovation and sustainable research, equipping itself with advanced technology tools related to agriculture. A forward-looking mindset and commitment to innovation allow the company to meet the evolving needs of its customers all around the world.
Strahl was originally founded as Officine Minute in Villorba, Treviso, Italy. The workshops were initially dedicated to producing burners for civil use, which soon evolved into hot air generators and later into burners for tobacco drying.
The company began the production of large grain dryers. This activity gradually replaced the previous ones and opened the company to international markets.
Officine Minute created the STRAHL brand to identify its dryer production.
A branch of the Forestan family founded AGRIMEC, which competed with ESFOR in the mobile dryer sector.
Agrimec acquired Esfor. From that moment on, mobile dryers were sold under the Agrimec brand.
Strahl brought together Officine Minute and Agrimec into a single, large company that has made experience, quality, reliability, and innovation its hallmark.
In 2024, Strahl reached a major milestone in its development by officially expanding its operations into North America.
This growth aims to better serve the Canadian and U.S. markets through a local presence, improved logistics, and closer support.
With this implementation, Strahl reinforces its strategy: to provide grain producers in Canada and the United States with high-performance drying solutions, designed and manufactured locally, to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.
