BIODRY is the series designed with a heat exchanger ideal for processing organic products. Thanks to a special stainless steel heat exchanger, the combustion air does not come into contact with the product, as it remains separate from the drying air. This way, the organoleptic qualities are preserved, and any type of contamination is avoided. The boiler structure is compact, yet it allows emissions into the atmosphere to be contained and minimizes the dispersion of thermal energy.
No contamination occurs between the product being processed and the combustion by-products.
Despite its compact design, the BIODRY series stands out for its ingenious design approach, which includes a large heat exchanger.
The cereal, legume, or seed is kept in constant motion to ensure even drying, which guarantees better preservation.
The dryer’s structure has been designed to provide a large exchange surface between the hot air and the cereals, allowing for unbeatable drying times.

The operating principle of these dryers is to keep the combustion air from the fuel separate from the drying air that comes into contact with the grain. This way, the quality of the product is not compromised.
The hopper allows for loading the product to be dried and provides an initial separation of unwanted elements and materials.
It allows the product to be loaded into the dryer’s drum.
Designed to transport the product upward, reintroduce it into the drying zone, and then facilitate the discharge of the product.
Dried cereals can be unloaded simply by gravity or, in the absence of a slope, by means of a screw conveyor equipped with an electric motor.
The heat exchanger separates the airflow used for fuel combustion from the drying airflow that comes into contact with the grain.
The fan draws air from outside and, through the preheated furnace, carries it inside the hood to reduce the moisture content of the cereals.
Device that removes impurities using a gravity-based ejection mechanism.
The electrical panel enables full management of all the dryer’s operating processes.
Mobile grain dryers from Strahl can be equipped with a power take-off (PTO) shaft, electric drive, or a combination of both, depending on the user’s needs.
Devices that measure and monitor the temperature of products during the drying process.
Recirculation flows indicate the paths of cold air toward hot air that passes through the combustion chamber until they meet inside the hood. Through micro-perforated sheets, the hot air allows airflow and facilitates product drying.
